Our BEAUTIFEL Bride this Friday is Lisa Ottum!
Lisa and Aaron were married October 29, 2011.
Lisa and Aaron sent us AMAZING photos!! We are so glad we get to share so many with you!
Who did your hair and make-up?
My hair was done by Tina Sweeney from Second Street Hair Gallery in La Crosse. Tina came to my bridal suite with one other stylist and did all the bridesmaid’s hair, mother’s, and my flower girl. I was blown away by the dedication and patience that Tina had throughout the morning of the wedding. We worked together to create a hair style that fit me and it turned out to be the perfect fit for me and my wedding gown!
What was your ceremony site?
Our ceremony site was North Presbyterian Church on the Northside of La Crosse. Pastor Scott Skogen did a superb job! He made us feel very comfortable, relaxed, and added some humor to an already nervous bride and groom. J
What was your reception site?
Our reception site was Stoney Creek Inn in Onalaska. Stoney Creek Inn was very organized and efficient in planning for the big day and setting up the reception room. I felt very confident that it would look fantastic… and it did!

What was it like working with Charlotte’s?
I could not have been happier with choosing Charlotte’s Bridal. I went to many other bridal stores but none compared to Charlotte’s and the service that was displayed! They went above and beyond to make sure that my wedding experience was a memorable one. They were extremely knowledgeable, very personable, and accommodating to all my needs as a bride-to-be.
Big Thank You to Mindy Hemmersbach for these AMAZING photos!!!
What is one piece of advice you would give brides that are just beginning their search for the perfect wedding gown?
Enjoy every minute of it! This is the one time in your life that you get to try on any dress that you choose so make the most of it, whether it is “the dress” or not. Step outside of your comfort zone and try on dresses that you would shake your head at… you will be very surprised! Bring along friends and family to support you and enjoy in your search too, but remember that it is ultimately your decision. “The dress” will feel good on but will also make you feel confident when you slip into it.
Who was your florist?
Our florist was Pam from Sunset Gardens out of Galesville, Wisconsin. She did an exquisite job on our flowers! Just like the bridal stores, I went to many florists and Pam was the only florist that actually took out real flowers and placed them next to one another for me to see colors and flower types. That sold me! I knew that she would do whatever it took to make my wedding day special. Every time I called Pam with questions or was in need of setting up an appointment she was very understanding and patient. She did a FANTASTIC job and the flowers were absolutely gorgeous!!
What a fun couple!!
LOVE IT!!!
